Research process

The research process involves a structured and disciplined inquiry that is adaptable to various disciplines and subjects. It is guided by three fundamental questions:

1. ‘What?’ - Identifying a tentative research proposition or ‘hunch’ and eventually forming a clear and viable research question.

2. ‘Why?’ - Establishing the necessity of the research within a broader context to test the proposition’s value, define the research position, and explore different research strategies.

3. ‘How?’ - Developing an appropriate methodology and methods for collecting, evaluating, analyzing, and interpreting relevant information to address the research question.
