Printing work

These images made on the Thames are forging my imagination and my emotions into the lateral. The images are very ambiguous and are not descriptive. There is a lots of movement in them and are filled with emotion. Either of the people that have evered connected with the river in any form or my own emotions and my struggling to understand what I feel.

The making, the editing and the printing process somehow made me feel closer to where I want to be with this work. I followed the advice and just went out and made images. And than I went again and then again and again. While editing the images  started to “talk to me” and out of thousands these popped out. The printing process is the magical moment they somehow transform into being. Prints are real, you can see them. I used photorag form Hannemulleh. I love the blacks. There was a bit of negotiation between what I want them to be and what the printed marked on the paper with ink. I’m nearly there. I’m also printing the. In baryta fb. Looking forward to see them tomorrow as I left the printer working and I came home.

It was a very productive weekend. Pleased with the effort.
