Hiroshi Sugimoto's work is one of my favourite artists.
The Dioramas, Portraits the Mathematical Models -all greatly executed reproductions of other artists' work. I suppose they don't have the "aura" (Walter Benjamine), but do they need it?
The Seascapes, Theaters and Opticks are my favourite -inspiring peace and solitude
