plate 10
It felt lik eI iwll never get here
I dont feel done
I need more
My mind is busy
I have new ideas
i will soon start woring on new schetces
This plate was a battle
I made some mistakes initially, and it was in a form that I didn't like
Unfortunately, I struggle to document, i get absorbed in my wor,k and nothing else matters, as I panic
SO it was in a form I didn't like, and I took it home to buff it on the wheel (I have a buffing wheel at home).
As I was progressing with polishing, I started to notice the marks left behind and I was liking them. This progress was over a couple of weeks, so perhaps because of the time passed, my vision changed as I worked on other plates.
So I took it back, used a modified sugar lift solution ( i added more sugar and lots of chalk and a bit of oil in some old solution I had) and i used it to mark the characters and the links in between
Then I finalised it by using spit bite aquatint
same size as the rest 300mm x 200mm aprox on some reset paper.
