Editing and sequencing the prints

After a long process of overthinking and planning the book, I decided to stitch it.

This was a response to the tutorial I had with Jonathan. wich helped me decide as I was hesitant and overthinking it to much.

I like the flow of it; the white pages have pauses to reflect; I am still deciding what I will do with the white pages. I showed the book to a friend who writes poetry about it and asked her if she would be interested in collaborating and writing a poem that we might use in the book. As it is stitched, I will need to explore a way of printing the text.

Through this work, I'm reflecting on my own life and recognising that simplicity can be set as a foundation. The aim is to use the work made and create a narrative focusing on simplicity that is driven by the flow of the images, similar to a river. Documenting my emotion through non-figurative images made using the process known as trigrams while enjoying the beauty of the banal and simple avoiding.

Inspired by Ray-Man and Mohali-Nagy and, of course, by Pierre Cordier, who invented trigrams.
