Dissolving impermanence

Rooftops are meant to be protective, a shell against the weather; they are also meant to last long term. I'm playing around with the concept of impermanence as nothing is meant to last forever, somehow fast-forwarding.
The manipulation of these images through overlapping and blending. resembles the idea that nothing is permanent linking the flow of time, and the concept of protective shell creating a paradox
