I wanted to experiment with paint and gold leaf over some of the images I made of the Thames
The images were printed on eco friendly Hahnemulleh paper 60x80cm
I used acrylic paint to create shapes and lines and gold leaf
It was interesting and playful process, I allowed my self to just do what I felt without overthinking or conceptualising. Visually to me they work but I should research more into colours and shapes. I didn't specifically wanted to use any traditional methods such as rules of thirds nor wanted the squares and shapes to be perfect. I instead embraced the playfulness of the process
